Ray Bland arrives tomorrow by train from Kyogle. He is having a week with us and will do tourist stuff with Reece. So we have dusted out the swag clean sheets and awning up. We are ready. I'm sure he will be very comfy.

Happy Birthday.

Concert

We went to end of year concert at day care yesterday. So sweet. Emily came happy skipping out then she turned round and saw the audience... Mmmmm not so happy.but she looked the part in gold lame. Lucas looking splendid in white pants and gorgeous sparkling purple top. Early dinner and well earned ice cream after.. They were so sweet. The carers at the centre are lovely.

The storm had hit and we ate now inside listening to thunderstorm.fantastic.

Sydney weather

Cruise

Wow we are excited . We have just booked a 10 day cruise from Sydney return via Fiji on the Voyager of the seas. It is a massive ship with all sorts of facilities. It is our Xmas pressie. We depart Jan 12....so Reece will get all the sea time he wants with only three ports on the cruise and plenty for me to do.... Yeah!!!!!!

We had a gorgeous time with Mum in Sydney after the boat cruise from Sydney. Now on the Indian Pacific train home. Unfortunately the cabins in gold class are tiny and no loo or shower... So down the corridor they have to go. I have asked the staff about upgrade but it seems the train is full. Bugger.

Lunch

We had a really nice day with Ayalah and Ron Nesti at their house at Lake Munmorah. Ayalah was the office manager at Colliers and Chestertons so they worked together for many years. She helped set up Fremantle Property Services putting all the administrative processes in place. She is such a lovely lady and Reece very fond of her. Now retired and enjoying being near her family and 94 year old mother who is as sharp as a tack. 

Now arrived in Sydney for our three month stay. Will be at Lane Cove Tourist park till after Xmas then to Narabeen on the northern beaches. Babysitting duties commence Thursday and Friday till school finishes. Will be great fun with the children. Just spent forever getting the satellite dish set up. So tricky to lock the dish onto the satellite. Seems dumb but we can't get reception with regular aerial here in Lane Cove!

Quite cool this afternoon. Need some long pants on!
