Balnarring Beach

We are now at Balnarring on the mornington peninsula and our campsite just across from the beach and a short drive to Vance and Annie. Beautiful weather today. Nice drive to mornington and gorgeous Diggers Garden at Dromana. The beach crystal clear. Tomorrow night off to visit Sam and Wobo Riley and their two little boys. They are living just near Frankston and Sam commutes to Melbourne by train for work.Reece at the dentist now replacing a filling. School holidays started here so kids having fun. Love Pen

Dentist

Settled into Balnarring and here for two weeks. First stop the dentist...... Crown loose.... Now no crown and no tooth. Bloody lucky he could get it all out as it had a root thingie as well. So I still have the gauze in my mouth putting pressure on the spot so no idea how ugly I will look . It is pretty close to the front upper.... Bugger but no way he could save as the tooth was fractured. I'll have to gat a job to pay for a titanium implant !!!
Off to see Vance soon. Annie visiting her boys in Cairns. Melbourne tomorrow to posh hotel for three nights. Love pen

Golf

I can't believe we are camped at a golf course. We are at Hilltop Golf And Country Club at Tantara just out of Shepperton, Victoria. We are  next to the 17th tee just behind the clubhouse. We have use of club loo and shower, power and water for only $25 a night, free washing machine and drier. Will have dinner at the clubhouse and a few spins on the pokies. Just had a walk around. Nice flat course some shallow bunkers and grass greens. Perhaps nine holes tomorrow. Right now am glued to watching Daniel Ricardo formula1 racing.

What a splendid day. We had a fabulous lunch at Brown Brothers winery . Ian and Julie came over from the farm at Wodonga. They decided to stay at a very nice resort nearby so after a rest we met at the pub then went for a fab italian dinner. Great fun. Now to sleep.

Pretty cool here this morning. Thanks Liz for my sparkling slippers. We are in the valley next to Thredbo at Porepunka Will stay here three nights and explore the region. Bright festival today then do the Alpine Way, Thredbo tomorrow. Love Pen

What a beautiful night . We have had a yummy bbq and now tucked up in  bed in the back paddock. Had a very cooling dip in the new pool this arvo. Tomorrow to lunch at Brown brothers. Renovations at the house going well. Really lovely to be here with doddsy and Julie. The farm looks gorgeous.
