Back in the caravan

Hi All. Well I have now returned to the caravan in Hobart. A good flight from Perth connecting in Melbourne and Reece was there to meet me in Hobart. Very happy to see me...
I had a fabulous time in Denmark with Mum. The renovations to Poddy Cottage are absolutely amazing. Thankyou Mum. We now have 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 3 loos, huge sunroom and the cosy room for TV. So there is plenty of room. The block has been cleared a lot more and we now have inlet views, the creek is flowing swiftly and Alistair has made a great adventure playground. We were very fortunate to have Alistair and Anna relocate to project manage the build.we had beautiful weather and swam at ocean beach each day. It was lovely to spend time with cousin Ann holidaying from London, Anthea then Bill , Conrad and Rozza came too. Mum very happy. She and Bill played at the Denmark Bridge Club and came top!!!
We did lots of jobs,,,,, cleaning out many cupboards, the old shed, hung mirrors, curtain rails, stripped the old paint off the blanket box, spread lawn seed, watered lawn seed, ....
I flew from Albany to Perth last Saturday and visited Joy as it was her 92 birthday. She had some of her pals and neighbours. She is looking great....
So now we are in Tassie. It is very dry. I had thought it might have been green!!!! Our caravan site is right on the banks of the Derwent River. It is called Treasure Island caravan park!!!!! We are right next door to MONA modern and new art gallery. Quite a speccie place. I walked around it today and will do the gallery when we return. We are heading off south tomorrow to do the Huon Trail. We went to Constitution Dock and had a big wander this morning. They have built a replica of Mawsons shack in Antartica which was opened just in Dec. Interesting old buildings at Salamanca, great shops with lovely artwork, jewellery etc.
Hot here today and forecast 36 tomorrow so I will be pleased to get by the ocean. No swimming in the river here.
Lots of love Pen
