Lucky we went to Mt Wellington yesterday as the weather was clear.it is 1270 m above sea level and the view spectacular. Today raining and we are off to Bruny Island. Will have a few days there awaiting the arrival of Captain Freddie Tucker who is sailing a boat from Adelaide to Kettering, nrad Bruny Island. We will then head north to Launceston. We have noticed the lawns and gardens dry and dead. I thiuht they must have severe water restrictions, but no. Everyone has water meters so have to pay....so now the rain has set in. Great for them but we are heading to the beach.bye for now
