Arrived Italy

Bonjourno That's the limit of my Italian. Wow we are here .what a long way from Brisbane and Kyogle. We had a long wait at Brissie airport and a 3 hour drive from Kyogle.but it was all really good nice we checked in and went business class's all the way...the only way to go!!!!!!! Stopover in KL only 2 hours so we had a shower then boarded the new big 380 and that was fantastic. The seats lie right down,so much space to the seat in front you have to undo you seat belt to reach lean forward to retrieve anything in the little pocket below the TV. It was fantastic. The hostile said business is much better than 1 st class because it is rather boxed in but business has a very high ceiling and spacious. Arrived in Rome and walked straight to the Hilton Hotel and crashed until 0600. Then easy to get the train to Central then another train to Chuisi where Tour Director Keith and Chris were there to meet us. They have a brand new Renault Clio to drive. Just enough room for us all. We are blown away by the beautiful scenery, hills, olive trees,sheep,and of course the incredibly old villages and towns. Paciano is a very small village with a bar, very small supermarket, hairdresser and coffee shop. all so quaint. I will send pics soon. You can walk around the village in about 10 minutes. The apartment is in the very old part of town, very spacious with fantastic views from every window. Reece and I have our own area upstairs sort of in the roof area sloping walls. We even have a loo which is something special. It sits underneath the wash basin and when you need to use it you just pull it out and there you go. Fantastic idea. We have been out driving yesterday to castiglione del lago (on the lake) fantastic lunch cost us 40 euro for 4 which included wine. Eating is so cheap..... Today we are off to Orvetia. I am sitting all fresco on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful crisp air. Te others find it all too cold but I love it.
